Welcome to Connected Brighton!

My name is Lyndsey, I'm Brighton born and bred and a Preston Park girl, I love trying new things, meeting new people, sharing stories, eating out, travel, drinks with friends, time with family and all things fitness (mainly to balance out my love of wine and chips!) And Connected Brighton is my baby.

Whether you are single or in a couple, just moved to the area or been here forever, if you want to meet new people and try new things then Connected Brighton is for you.

We host events across the city designed to help you make new friends and try new things such as Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Petanque, Mezcal Tasting, Cocktail Making, Escape Rooms, Games Nights, Drinks, Dinners, Lunches and Brunches!

I started Connected Brighton in response to lockdown and the number of life changing break ups, make ups, job losses, job changes and moves to the coast. I had my own break up and got made redundant, and for a moment wasn't sure what life post lockdown was going to look like. But I knew I wanted to make the most of it.

Feeling inspired to bring like minded people together I saw an opportunity to offer something different that would connect people looking to be part of a supportive community but that would also support our brilliant local businesses. Helping put cash back in the tills and smiles back on faces.

And so here we are! Several brilliant events later, working with fantastic partners we are building a community of fun people who want to do fun things. New events are coming up each week with great local businesses offering bespoke experiences that showcase what Brighton & Hove has to offer.

We are still keeping Covid safe and cautious with small groups and outside when we can. We can also do any Connected Brighton event as a private party or team event – just get in touch!
