Today's blog comes from our newest Connected100 members, Lollipop Print — a family-run print business with branches in Crawley, Hove and Chichester, celebrating 15 years this year. From business cards and flyers to large-format signage, exhibition graphics and branded merchandise, Lollipop helps businesses of all sizes bring their ideas to life. In this blog, they introduce themselves: their story so far, their family values, and why joining a local community like Connected100 felt like exactly the right step.

Lollipop Print is excited to join Connected100 and become part of a thriving community of outstanding local businesses.

At Lollipop, people often know us for print, but for us, it's always been about much more than that. It's about relationships, being reliable, solving problems, and helping businesses look their best.

This year is a special one for us as we celebrate 15 years of Lollipop Print, but our story actually started much earlier than that.

A family business with deep roots

Lollipop grew from Document Options Ltd, the family business founded by Richard Entecott back in 1989. Over the years, the business built a strong reputation for quality and service, and in 2011, Lollipop Print was launched by Richard's son, Ed Entecott, alongside long-serving employee Dan Patience, bringing together 30 years of experience. As part of the same group, they introduced a fresh, creative, customer-focused approach to print while keeping those same family values at the centre of it all.

That family feel still runs through the business today.

It's in the way we work, the way we look after our customers, and the way we've built our team. We're incredibly lucky to have staff who have been with us from the very beginning, and that says a lot. In an industry that's constantly changing, having that kind of loyalty, experience and knowledge behind the scenes is something we never take for granted.

Today, we have branches in Crawley, Hove and Chichester, supporting businesses of all sizes, from independent local brands to national names.

Over the years, we've worked with some incredible clients including Virgin Atlantic, Bird & Blend Tea Co., Stagecoach Group, British Airways to name but a few, but we're just as proud of the hundreds of local businesses we work with every day, including some fellow Connected100 members too.

More than just business cards

And while people might think of printers for business cards or flyers, we are proud to offer so much more.

From large-format signage, exhibition graphics and window displays to packaging, point-of-sale, branded merchandise, installation and delivery, we help businesses bring ideas to life in all sorts of ways. Whether it's a one-off urgent print job or supporting a business all year round across multiple sites, we're set up to make it happen.

Investing in the future

This year also marks the completion of a five-year, £500,000 investment into our print capabilities, something we're incredibly proud of. It's been all about making sure we continue to evolve, grow and offer the very best to our customers.

That investment includes state-of-the-art equipment such as our HP Indigo Digital Press, Canon Arizona Flatbed UV Printer and Kongsberg Edge Cutting Table, giving us even more flexibility, precision and creative possibilities. In simple terms, it means we can do more, do it faster, and do it better.

A lot of our clients see us as an extension of their team, and that's exactly how we like it.

We know businesses move fast, deadlines are tight, and plans change. Being able to turn things around quickly, problem-solve and deliver consistently is a huge part of what we do.

Why Connected100

Joining Connected100 felt like the right step for us because community has always mattered.

We've always believed in supporting local businesses, building strong connections and working together and that's something we know Connected100 is all about too.

As Ed puts it:

"Lollipop has always been about people first. Print is what we do, but relationships are what make the business. We're proud of where we've come from, proud of how we've grown, and excited to be joining a network like Connected100 where community and collaboration are at the heart of it."

We're excited to meet more businesses, make new connections, and hopefully support more of the incredible brands in this network.

And if you ever need print, signage, advice, or just someone to help figure out the best way to bring an idea to life, we're always happy to chat.
