Brighton Dome has announced that the acclaimed 360° Lightroom production David Bowie: You're Not Alone will open for a strictly limited season in the Corn Exchange, running from 16 July to 30 August 2027.

The immersive experience draws on thousands of hours of footage from the David Bowie Archive in New York, taking audiences from Space Oddity through Diamond Dogs and "Heroes" to ★. It's produced by Lightroom and written and directed by Mark Grimmer of multi award winning studio 59, with a newly reconfigured spatial audio design by Olivier and Tony award winning sound designer Gareth Fry. Rather than focusing on Bowie's characters, the show centres on the man himself, his thinking on theatricality, spirituality, songwriting and creativity.

Lucy Davies, Director and CEO of Brighton Dome, called it a homecoming for Bowie to Brighton Dome, following his famous 1973 ban from the venue. Lightroom Chief Executive Richard Slaney said the response to David Bowie: You're Not Alone in London has been phenomenal, with the Brighton run also marking what would have been Bowie's 80th birthday.
