Founded by Brighton’s own Paula Clark in 2017, Cocoon&me is all about unleashing creativity, sparking joy, and bringing people together. Our family-run business offers hands-on workshops where you can Arm knit a chunky blanket (yes, using your Arms as needles!) create a Macramé dog lead, or Crochet a stylish basket - all in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

And when the festive season rolls around? Get ready for Pompom wreaths, handmade Christmas stockings, and Macramé tree decorations that’ll make your home pop with personality. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned crafter, Cocoon&me’s sessions are designed to inspire, relax, and leave you with something beautiful to show off.

Cocoon&me may be Brighton-based, but our creative workshops travel far & wide - from around the South-East to London, Sheffield, and Manchester. Founder Paula tailors every session to fit the group, whether it’s one-on-one tuition in our studio or energising craft experiences for corporate teams of 80+. Paula’s passion for teaching is contagious! This year, she launched a Craft After School Club at Brighton College Prep Handcross, where children dive into a mix of creative projects, pick up new skills, & have fun in a lively, hands-on environment. It’s all about learning, laughter, and letting imaginations run wild!

We love hosting intimate sessions where families of all ages come together to get creative. There’s something magical about seeing grandparents, parents, and children all crafting side by side - sharing laughs, swapping stories, and making memories. Meet our Founder: Paula

Paula’s creative spark was first lit by her late mother, Norma, an artist in Covent Garden in the 1970s. Surrounded by inspiration, Paula went on to earn a Knitwear Degree at Middlesex University, winning the prestigious Textprint prize from Paul Smith himself.

After a successful career as a Design Director/Senior Knitwear Designer at top UK brands, Paula followed her dream and launched Cocoon&me. What started as bespoke products soon grew into a vibrant brand offering craft kits, supplies, and now hands-on workshops for all ages. Paula’s energy fuels every session, reminding us that creativity is for everyone, and it’s never too late to begin your own crafty adventure.
