Welcome to the Connected Brighton Community

Creating a community of Brighton lovers to make the most of this city and the people who call it home.

We love Brighton

Have you found that making friends as adults can be difficult? You are not alone!

Whether you are new to the area or local and looking for friendship, Connected Brighton is here to bring people together to socialise in our amazing city.

We connect people through bespoke events that support local businesses. Sharing unique experiences and making new friends with a community of like-minded people.

Events are limited in size and showcase what Brighton has to offer. From Petanque, kayaking, tastings, tours, games and fancy food.

We are also a proud Visit Brighton partner!

Founded by Lyndsey, a born and bred Brightonian, qualified coach, lover of people and chips. She felt the need for in person connection with a changing social circle, and wanted a way to support the hospitality industry after the impact of 2020. And so Connected Brighton was born!

Try us out. Book an event, follow us, subscribe for weekly city tips and become a member for access to our all events, special offers and discounts.

Join our community and be connected by a drive to make the most of Brighton life together.

What our members say about us!

"My boyfriend and I moved to Hove last year in the middle of the pandemic, so it's been really difficult to meet new local friends. Connected has changed all that!"

"It’s such a nice way to get to know the city you live in as well as support local and smaller businesses. I’m really looking forward to more events in 2022, trying new things, meeting new people and continuing to connect with those I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you, Connected Brighton! :)"

"I was super nervous when I turned up to my first event, but Lyndsey instantly made me feel welcome and part of the Connected 'family'. Everyone in the group was really friendly and chatty. I left the event feeling like I'd finally found just the 'thing' that I'd been looking for - regular opportunities to connect with nice, open people who are looking to make new friends and acquaintances and get to experience more of what this wonderful city has to offer.
